The brief
Make something that holds up next to a real campaign, with two of our own characters and no crew. And make it read with the sound off, which is how it gets watched.
The idea
A rivalry. Him and her, same sport, same block, each with their own wardrobe. The fight is the excuse to show nine looks in a row without it turning into a catalogue.
The process
Outfits first, one by one, as locked references. Then the lookbook, which is the honest catalogue. The ad goes on top, cut from the last frame of each generation so the two halves meet. Edited locally.
Outcome
Two vertical pieces that stand on their own, plus a wardrobe series with room for more episodes.
